Traffic Sign Recognition (Standard all models)
Traffic Sign Recognition uses cameras to locate and read road signs, including those for speed limits, stop signs, no passing zones, etc. The information is displayed in the instrument panel or available head-up display, allowing you to stay informed even if you miss a sign as you pass.
Blind Spot Information System / Cross Traffic Monitor (Standard for Odyssey, Passport, Pilot)
Honda's Blind Spot Information System monitors for other cars ~10 feet to each side of the vehicle and 15 feet back from the front doors and illuminates an icon in the corresponding side mirror. If you activate the turn signal while a vehicle is in the blind spot, the system will flash the icon, sound a beep, or both.
When in reverse, Cross Traffic Monitor notifies you of objects approaching the rear of your vehicle from either side. This feature is particularly useful when backing out of a tight parking space or blind driveway.
Traffic Jam Assist (Standard for Civic, Accord, Odyssey, HR-V, CR-V, Pilot)
Traffic Jam Assist combines Adaptive Cruise Control, Low-Speed Follow, and Lane Centering technologies to maintain a safe distance from leading vehicles while tracking straight between road markings. The system helps maintain lane position at speeds below 45 mph down to a crawl, as one might experience in congested traffic conditions.
